David Williams
Finding a poker player like David Williams that has the guts to win the
game, take victories left and right and have no complaints about doing so
whatsoever, is not such a hard task for a person that has an eye for poker,
to do. Of the many great poker players that have come to pass, Williams
has taken the game by storm with something to prove.
Since David Williams has walked onto the scene, he has made a difference
in the game as we know it. He was born on June 9, 1980 in the city of Arlington,
TX . From the very beginning, David was a person that always showed an interest
in many things. He was always a smart young man when growing up. After high
school, he attended Princeton where he studied economics. Though at times,
the prospect of a great career in poker would seem out of reach and even
downright, not even an option when the going got tough, Williams still made
certain to keep a level head and work his way through all of the bad in
the hopes of coming out on top.
Years ago, David would soon get into poker and decide that this would be
something that would be worth pursuing and growing his skills into a profitable
career in poker that would change his life as well as the people that he
cares about in a large way. David also knew that much practice was needed
to be able to win at poker and reach their way up into the top. As he began
to rake in the wins and competitions here and there, the money and status
that was soon to follow wasn't far behind as time went on. Nicknamed D-dub,
Williams is for certain a formidable opponent that has many wins under his
belt to cement how good of a player he really is. He's friends with some of the game's greats including
Phil Ivey and
Sam Farha, and that's more proof of their respect for his game.
Many major wins and victories over other poker greats and important figures
in poker have helped David tremendously in earning a permanent place in
the professional poker world that we all know and keep a sharp eye on. Not
only that, but respect has also followed suit his career began to blossom,
which was to be expected. Currently, David has earned one WSOP bracelet
that he can call his own and can claim at least fifteen money finishes.
He's also performed extremely strong in
World Poker Tour events. His financial
portfolio boasts more than six million dollars and counting. David makes
appearances on different poker shows and makes certain to be known as yet
another person to be known throughout the world of poker as someone to take
note on. David's mother is also known to try her luck at playing poker and
trying to make it big in the game.
Shooting to fame has not stopped Williams from trying to live life to the
fullest and enjoying every second of his professional poker career in a
way that he could live with and be proud of for a very long time to come.

anyone a challenge to deal with.
